<shameless>You know, if you need some help with your procrastinations, you could always catch up on your reading</shameless>

I too am procrastinating, so I consider myself tagged!
seftiri: Smileseftiri on January 22nd, 2008 12:14 am (UTC)
Yay for reading! I must admit that I had nearly forgotten that was waiting for me so I appreciate you pointing to it again. This is what happens when one's brain is on academia. ;)

Any Elizabethan government or politics book recommendations?

Procrastination is addictive.

The Tudor Age (History of England) by James A. Williamson is the one I have liked best so far. I have two more winging their way to me via post at the moment so I reserve the right to change my mind if one of those proves better. ;)

P.S. We are "boys" of a feather. Heh.

Me? Evil? ;)

And heh! Good to know!

Clearly, you make a way cooler guy than I do. :p Or at least, you have the better "guy" qualities. And I'm currently kicking myself for not mentioning the sci-fi/fantasy/bladed weapons thing in my version.

Also, by the encouragement of my friend who is sitting next to me saying "spread the musics" in a really funny voice, I feel compelled to mention that if you like Alanis Morrissette and Melissa Etheridge (WIN on both accounts, btw), you might like Jen Foster.
seftiri: Kataraseftiri on January 22nd, 2008 12:23 am (UTC)
Jen Foster, eh? I will check her out! Have you heard Shannon Curfman yet? That girl, at 15, was a better musician than almost anyone I had ever heard. I am hoping she has something new-ish out.

As for my "guy" qualities, well, I personally think that fully 68% of the entire population of Earth drools over Angelina Jolie regardless of their gender. So that might not be so cool. LOL

seftiri: Jeri Chalseftiri on January 22nd, 2008 12:32 pm (UTC)
Ha! Practically everything I write/read/work on at work and every airplane trip I take is done to the sounds of VAST from my iPod. LOL I find their music soothing and good for productivity. :)

What do I get for knowing the lie? ;)
tulliolus: feettulliolus on January 26th, 2008 01:59 am (UTC)
I guessed that one! I seem to recall the tattoo's being mentioned in a previous post (can't decide who I'm talking to, hence the passive voice. (Yay for language geekery! (And verbless sentences in nested brackets also!)))

As for the other, ahem... thing, it just didn't seem like something someone would make up...

3. Nerdish
Where on Earth did this come from? Cuz out of the family I've met... it's just you and Justin that got it. ;)

I'm bored.
seftiri: CM Goddess of Nerdsseftiri on January 29th, 2008 12:36 am (UTC)
Yeah, noticed that, did you? I think it's a latent genetic thing. I mean, how else do a baseball jock and a cheerleader produce not one but TWO nerds? I often imagine that if they'd continued having children, my other brother would have been an all-out jock and my other sister would have been Madison from VM.
