Gillian Anderson: Hey, what's wrong with me??
Tiff and I went to see X-Files: I Want to Believe tonight and while there, an ad came on for a TV special in the UK called Ballet Shoes starring Emma Watson. I saw her on the screen and the following conversation occurred...

Me: Is that Emma?
Tiff: Stop being a pedophile.
Me, appalled: I admire her work!
Tiff: Stop being a pedophile!
Me: I'm not being a pedophile! All I said is "Is. That. Emma?" That's not being a pedophile! How's that being a pedophile?
Tiff: ::sardonic look::
Me, flustered: I mean...well...hey, isn't she eighteen yet?
Tiff: How old are you again?

As for the X-Files movie, you'll see my response to that sometime over the next few months! ;)

Twoodles!

*cackles* Ahhh... So does this mean you've joined the Dirty Old Lady Brigade? shatterpath and I seem to be charter members....

I had no idea I was, actually. I usually find women under 25 to be lacking. But there is something about Emily. Perhaps she reminds me (as Hermione) of the school girl I had always meant to be. LOL

*chuckles* I know what you mean. Normally, I don't "try" to look at them, but it creeps into your psyche and you just can't help it...

*g* IMDB says Emma Watson turned 18 this April, so you are technically off the hook.

Of course, I have absolutely no right to say anything about it, since the women I generally find attractive are usually old enough to be my mother (if not older).

Used to be the same for me but now... Now the attractive ones are right around my age. Though there are some older ones I can't seem to live without, too. LOL

In which case, I can't wait to grow up. *g*

Of course, there will always be older ones I can't live without (Helen Mirren, Meryl Streep, etc.), but the ones I love the most all seem to be around my mother's age (Bebe Neuwirth being a prime example).

I also have some younger ones...as evidenced by the icon I'm using here. LOL

Bebe simply rocks! She can't help it!

Yes, well, at seventeen years old, if I like girls notably younger than myself, there really is something wrong with me.

And oh, yes. Bebe Neuwirth is truly awesome. I'm very much hopelessly infatuated with her.

The Dirty Old Lady Brigade sounds delightful...especially since it could apply both to the dirty old ladies and the young ones who have crushes on them. I think I'm probably more in the latter camp than the former (I'm 24), but Emma Watson certainly does have that certain something, doesn't she? *dreamy sigh*

Now I just have to figure out how I can have simultaneous crushes on Emma Watson AND Meryl Streep. I think I'm safely qualified for the DOLB, either way.

Sounds like you are, indeed! LOL Welcome to the Limer Lounge, btw!

Thanks. I love your background, btw. And your icon.
