Sticker Poll: Days Ten and Eleven
Ugh. I had hoped for so many more stickers. 2.5 hours each way. Hundreds of cars in the RenFest parking lots. Lunch and shopping today. And the totals are sad.

Saturday I knew that Charlotte was more conservative but I had no idea that they were that sticker-poor. LOL Biggest city in NC and I only saw 11 total stickers.

Obama 5
McCain 6

Sunday A sleepy day. Stuffed ourselves with sushi and tempura. Drove back home in the dark. Got gas for $2.15 in Asheboro (had to wait in line, though). We only saw 6 stickers the whole day.

Obama 3
McCain 3

An interesting sight, though. On one of the McCain cars today, there was a quote on the back window spelled out in stickers. It said: "The devil is a liar, Jesus is alive." 1 Tracy 1:1 and below that it said In Memoriam, Tracy Futch 1969 - 2007

It was weird. It was a little weirder because it was a business vehicle. Some sort of heating and air conditioning business. Let it not be said that North Carolinians are afraid to mix business and religion. O_o

Anyway, I'm off to bed. Early day for me again and a very late night (NIN concert in Greensboro!) Then I have the day off to vote. YAY! Voting!

Yes, I am that much of a geek.

Twoodles!

ETA: Just noticed the miscounts on the days in the titles. Corrected all affected posts. Feel like a moron.

Charlotte really is not sticker poor, I promise you that. And though I haven't been counting, they seem to be pretty balanced in either camp. Although that could be due in large part to the area of Charlotte that I live in.

I have to say that I'm amused by your ongoing count for a number of reasons. Which kind of makes me LOL considering how much I tend to bristle at the idea of one advertising their entire voting history on the tail end of their vehicle.

OOHH! And so completely jealous about the NIN concert. Hope you have a ton of fun!
