It's like soapy crack covered in melted chocolate. It's bad for you in five different ways and yet you cannot. stop.

The last time I watched a soap regularly was 21 years ago. I am TOO OLD for this and yet...not stopping!

General Hospital and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). I remember it well. Too well. LOL

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I cannot stop laughing at you. I told you. Now you are in the same boat as me, my friend.

I've just re-watched the first clip from today and now I owe the curse jar SIX dollars. Oi!

My teeth actually HURT from clenching them. CC is a freakin' goddess...

I caught up on all the Otalia clips in that channel yesterday. Crystal Chappell reminds me of Simone Lahbib. Boobies and all.
seftiri: Olivia Spencer Paper Heartseftiri on March 5th, 2009 04:55 am (UTC)
I had to look Simone up (I knew I knew the name but not from where) and I can see that comparison... :)

Watch today's clips if you are able. Very edge-of-your-seat. Ugh.

Jeffrey is an ass. I caught up with today's clips earlier. GL is now on my DVR schedule.

SO CLOSE OMG.

She'd better get it out soon!

She's going to end up blurting it out in the most public spot in Springfield. I just know it.

AUUUUUUUGH! (In the immortal words of Charlie Brown...)

STOP MAKING ME WANT TO SPEND TIME I DON'T HAVE WATCHING TV.

Okay, I don't mean that, and it's not like I don't spend every free minute I have each day (all five of them) watching stuff anyway... Now I need to hunt down episodes or clips, though.

Search Otaliafan in YouTube's channels.

And I'll try to stop grinning. LOL

Will do. Eventually. I want to, and yet, am an incredible procrastinator.

Okay, so I watched the clips in question.

...Yeah, my reaction closely paralleled yours.

See?

Sucks you in. Like bad crack.

I just sent chapter 2 of the AU piece to the betas. I should start posting tomorrow because, yes, I've already started chapter 3.

Sigh...

Definitely like bad crack. Thank god I have experience dealing with bad!crack fandoms. *coughTwilightcough*

And yay, more reading material! I mean, I still haven't finished your last one, because school was hell this week, but there is yay anyway, because I won't be short on fics to read when I do have free time.

Also, you are very prolific. Share your secrets, plz/thx. ;)
seftiri: Otalia Ice Creamseftiri on March 8th, 2009 06:23 am (UTC)
Oh ha ha. Prolific. Yes. As far as I can tell, my prolificness (is that a word?) directly correlates to whether or not I'm in a relationship. No? I write. Yes? I dry up like the Gobi in July.

I don't necessarily recommend it as a writing plan, though. ;)

Shut up and smile: TV // TBJ // Tracey/Kellymorningafter2 on March 8th, 2009 06:27 am (UTC)
...Well, damn. That's of no help to me. An unfortunate way of going about things, but an interesting correlation nonetheless.

As for that as a writing plan, it hasn't worked so far. I'm flying solo and I still can't write anything. ;)
seftiri: Olivia Spencer Paper Heartseftiri on March 8th, 2009 06:34 am (UTC)
Strangely enough, I there is also a correlation between writing and getting into a relationship. 3 out of 4 partners began talking to me because of my fanfic. First was XWP, then T/7, then C/O.

Needless to say, I am watching my Otalia fans very closely so I can nip anything that might get out of hand in the bud. I am taking a break from relationships for the next two years at least. I have school and work and health stuff to deal with.
Shut up and smile: Books // Guide // Mostly harmlessmorningafter2 on March 8th, 2009 06:46 am (UTC)
Wow, talk about a mixed blessing. Your writing correlations are interesting though. Usually the only correlation I can find with my writing is a definitively positive one between how much unspent energy I have and how much I write. Which would also explain a lot, since I basically have no energy anymore.

Also, the relationship hiatus is totally understandable. Good luck with that. (I sympathize because I'm in a dating-free zone right now and might actually smack (read: poke or pinch, because I'm really not a violent person to non-blood-relatives) the next person who tries to either set me up or tell me I need to date.)
seftiri: iDoryseftiri on March 8th, 2009 06:55 am (UTC)
Yeah, I just need a break for a while. I need to learn how to take care of myself first. I also need to take care of some untreated PTSD that's apparently only going to get worse before it gets better. I'm no good for a relationship until that gets dealt with.

You pinch whoever you need to! There is no "have to" or "need to" in dating. There is only "want to". Silly people.
Shut up and smile: TV // Avatar // Spartamorningafter2 on March 8th, 2009 07:01 am (UTC)
That's understandable, and almost certainly best for you. It's good that you know that, too. I know way too many people who will get out of a relationship and just bounce into a new one.

They're usually the same silly people who accuse me of liking books more than people. ;) Besides, even if I had the slightest inclination to date, I am a) leaving for college in less than a year (hopefully), and; b) in possession of a serious lack of free time to begin with. So it looks like pinching may ensue.
