And now for something completely different...
Tagged by dancing_crazy.

And I couldn't stop at 10. Sorry.

1. 1985, USA
"Bodie, I've noticed you've stopped stuttering."
"I've been giving myself shock treatments."
"Up the voltage."

ralst just WOWed me by getting this one. O_o

2. 1968, UK
"What is this? I'm not mouldering - my pate's not peeling off. I'm good for years."
"How many years? Suppose I hold you back for one? I can - it's possible. Suppose your first son dies? Ours did - it's possible. Suppose you're daughtered next? We were - that, too, is possible. How old is "Daddy" then? What kind of spindly, ricket-ridden, milky, wizened, dim-eyed, gammy-handed, limpy line of things will you beget?"
"It's sweet of you to care."
"And when you die - which is regrettable, but necessary - what will happen to frail Alais and her pleumy prince? You can't think Richard's going to wait for your grotesque to grow."
"You wouldn't let him do a thing like that."
"Let him? I'd push him through the nursery door!"
"You're not that cruel."
"Don't fret. We'll wait until you're dead to do it."

celievamp was divinely inspired!

3. 1986, USA/UK
"I guess she don't like the cornbread, either."

ralst gets the prize for getting this one on such a throwaway line.

4. 1993, USA
"Quite obviously, I was looking for an oil and gas lawyer."

5. 1995, USA
"If you fit into my pants I think I'll kill myself."

piekid has just blown my frickin' mind! AMAZING!

6. 1985, USA
"How many husbands have you had?"
"Mine, or other women's?"
"Yes, just the five. Husbands should be like Kleenex: soft, strong, and disposable."

Obviously dani_ellie has one. You rock, cutie!

7. 1990, USA
"I'll bet someone back east is going, "Now why don't he write?""

An anonymous poster gets the throw away line from Dances With Wolves!

8. 2003, USA
"Son number one?"
"This tall drink of a cocksucker ain't dead."

Because Kevin knows his Uma!

9. 2002, Hong Kong/China
"This is the sacred law of Qin! If your majesty is to unite the land, this man has to be made an example of! Your Majesty, execute him! Your Majesty, execute him! Your Majesty, execute him! Your Majesty, execute him! Your Majesty, execute him! Your Majesty, execute him!"

shaych_03 got this one via YIM! :D

10. 1999, USA
"Were they sent to Hell?"
"Worse. Wisconsin. For the entire span of human history."

piekid, thy name is Wunderkind! Love it!

10. 1957, USA
"She put herself in your place - all you have to do is put yourself in her place, and you're bound to bump into each other in somebody's place."

11. 1995, USA
"Can't... breathe...."
"Oh, my God. Emma Rae, what did you do?"
"Well, you said to keep him busy. He's busy holding his nuts."

piekid got this one and I think that's squee!

12. 1993, USA
"Not essential? I think you misunderstand the meaning of the word. I teach history and literature, since when it's not essential?"

13. 1969, UK
"I have a little neck."

14. 1991, UK/USA
"Don't you ever say never to me."

15. 1993, UK/USA
"Please don't send me away, I won't do any harm."
"Harm? What harm can a child do?"

16. 1985, USA
"What do you want?"
"I was told to bring you this bird, father. It's been wounded."
"Good shot. Bring it in, we'll dine together."
"We can't eat this bird, father."
"What? Oh God, is it Lent again already?"

17. 1980, USA
"But she has never worked a day in her life before."
"I know, but she's just been divorced and she needs the job."
"Yeah, and I'm a widow with 5 kids; Jerry should have never died, I could have divorced him. Is that her?"
"We're gonna need a special locker for that hat."

piekid isn't old enough to have gotten this but she did!

18. 1982, UK/USA
"Wings? I don't have wings!"
"Of course not. You're a boy."

19. 1993, USA
"Think it'll be an early spring?"
"Winter, slumbering in the open air, wears on its smiling face a dream... of spring. Ciao."

Kevin also knows his tertiary and unusual American throwaway holidays! :D

20. 1982 UK/India
"Mr. Kinnoch, I beg you to accept that there is no people on Earth who would not prefer their own bad government to the good government of an alien power."*

shaych_03 YIMmed me this answer! :)

* Words we Americans would be wise to remember.

I'll have 10 more later.

I am not sure if you still care, but # 15 is The Secret Garden. I used to watch that film 3 times a week when I was little. I think I had a crush on Mary's maid. lol.
