Missing you...
I miss Lis Rohm. Like whoa.

Someone needs to get her back on TV on a regular basis. And soon.

How about as Serena Southerlyn who has joined some sort of Lambda Legal firm or something?

A lawyer show about the things that befall the GLBT community? And Serena could have a girlfriend. One that is never arrested, accused of being inappropriate with a minor, and who doesn't die in some sort of catastrophic way.

Wouldn't that be cool?

My State of Mind: grumpygrumpy

I would watch a show like that!

So would I. Now I wonder, though. Should I get out my How to Write for TV books, dust them off, and write up a spec script? Hmmmm...

Yeah, right. DW isn't interested in treating the GLBT community fairly. ;)
Stacystacyyy on December 14th, 2005 09:46 pm (UTC)
Yeah, I don't think DW would be having any of that.
seftiri: Serena You Suckseftiri on December 14th, 2005 09:55 pm (UTC)
Sucks, doesn't it? Because I think a show like that would do really well. Like top 10 well. The GLBT community would eat it up!
Stacystacyyy on December 14th, 2005 10:07 pm (UTC)
Yeah totally, they would basically have the entire TV-watching GLBT community viewing their show. And it wouldn't have much competition, because there isn't any other show like that, especially on network television. Also, it would be the perfect way to spread awareness about many important issues. Young GLBT people (like me!) need some good GLBT role models. Ones who don't, like you said, end up dead or in jail.

And Serena could have a girlfriend.
That would be an incredibly great show to watch.
I've heard the rumblings about a Lis show, "Briar & Graves", though I don't think FOX picked it up. (The bastards)
But according to imdb, she is starring in a made-for-TV movie called "FBI: Negotiator." Like, squee.

OMG...your icon is soooooo squeeful and pure LOVE!!

And yes, she was in "FBI: Negotiator" I have heard both good reviews and bad reviews about it. I, myself, haven't yet seen it.

I have, however, seen screen caps and she looks very hot. Plus, she has a daughter in the show and that makes me happy. Cuz you know, the two fastest ways to get me to adore a female character is either for her to go through something hurt/comfort like while showing great bravery (gee, who does that sound like?) or to give her a child that she adores (I was a complete and utter goner for Seven of Nine the instant they introduced Naomi as her best friend).

Maybe I should do an online "show" based on that idea. Hmmmm....

I shall have to think on that.

Right after I stop giggling about your cool icon!! LOL

Seven with Naomi was so damned adorable
Oooh an online show? *maniacal grin* I'd be verrry interested in that.

If you love my icon that much, feel free and open to completely steal it from me. :-D I've learned to share over the past 20 years.

Aww...Seven and Naomi was adorable. Seven and her Borg kids were even more adorable. Well, except the baby, which just disappeared. And until they got rid of them all for no apparent reason. I, of course, have kept them all but Izan (Azan) and Rebi in my writings.

If I get to use the icon, I, of course, will credit you.

God, I couldn't agree more!!! I miss Lis...miss those baby blues, those little dimples at the corners of her mouth, that graceful sway of blonde hair...Where was I?

Oh, yeah. I miss Lis. So, babycakes, in all of your spare time, why don't you come up with a pilot and send it off to Dickless Wolf?? I'd be happy to offer many suggestions...and in fact, would sacrifice myself to play her girfriend *lol*
seftiri: ER come hitherseftiri on December 15th, 2005 01:15 am (UTC)
The sacrifices you will make to assure Lis's success are duly noted and not entirely unexpected. ;)

I will see what I can do about a spec script. And soon, because with me, as soon as something I think of is out there in the Universe, at least five people have the same exact idea.

It's really quite strange. :D

i think a "csi:sf" spin off would be a good lis vehicle ;) get vanessa ferlito from csi:ny to reprise aiden and you've got built in slashiness :)

or a "kate" like role for lis... *sigh* i loved kate. so underused. :/
seftiri: Serena KMWLAseftiri on December 16th, 2005 12:21 pm (UTC)
Nope. I'm kinda married to the GLBT lawyer angle. All those things I hate about stereotypical portrayals of the GLBT community could be addressed and corrected in that show.

Though we could hire VF for one of the roles. She has some free time, I hear. ;)

You know what? I love YOUR "Kate". I never got to see the other one. LOL
shayshaych_03 on December 16th, 2005 03:30 pm (UTC)
LOL well... there's always the hush hush story ;)

as for Kate, i think it's TNT that runs Angel reruns daily... i'm sure if you poked around, you could find out when the eps with kate were running :)

I would LOVE to see Serena Southerlyn back in the L&O world. I find it sad & a bit disturbing that Wolfie seems to think that bringing Alex back from the "dead" is easier then having an out lesbian as a key character in a show. How bloody easy is it to wander your way back out of witness protection after a large drug lord wants to dead? I liked both Alex & Serena but given the choice I would go with Serena in my warped little world. LOL
seftiri: iconredheadsseftiri on December 16th, 2005 12:23 pm (UTC)
I totally agree with you on the whole "let's bring Alex back" hit parade. UGH.

I'd rather have Serena back ANY DAY.
