Hellos and Howdy Dos
I think I finally have a handle on this livejournal thing and in addition to using it to feed my TBJ femslash addiction, a friend of mine suggested I might find it useful to post here. Shay, that's the friend, also suggested that I might post little fanfic tidbits here, but she may have suggested that for her own personal reasons and not necessarily for the good of all.

However, I think she is right. I will probably find this very useful and I will probably also post fanfic tidbits here...parts of stories I haven't written, drabbles that have nothing to do with anything, moments we wish we'd seen...that sort of thing.

One thing that I can promise you...it will all be femslash. I am a happy lesbian and I write femslash. That's what I do. If you object to femslash, I suggest you don't stick around. It piles up around here like shredded paper in Oliver North's office. Honest.

So, DiNovia, who is/are your current femslashy favorites?

Well, I'm glad you asked that, gentle reader. I am currently obsessed with Cold Case and SVU. Which means I am writing a Cold Case story with NO SVU crossover (yet) and several SVU stories in two different pairings (the popular and the unpopular one). I also write Voyager stories, specifically T/7. I used to write J/7, but not anymore.

As for reading, I find myself quite taken with Dana/Monica from X-Files (I know, I'm YEARS out of date on that one) and Tracey/Kelly from L&O:TBJ. Just ask the other ljers who I bother about TBJ...sometimes more than once a day. It's an illness. I know.

In other news, my health is improving enough for me to be ready for my next surgery, which is in June and my niece, Zoe, who is the most amazing child in the history of the Universe (so far), will be a big sister sometime in November.

Other than that, I have no news of interest.

I might drabble a little later, though. I am supposed to be working on any number of stories, but it seems my lazy, unpredictable, and generally cantakerous Muse is still asleep. Some writers are blessed with prolific, efficient little Muses who act like a cross between a speed-typer, Barbara Kingsolver, and Radar O'Reilly. Not me. Mine acts like a cross between an overmedicated lab rat and Tank Girl. She does what she likes when she likes and not. one. minute. sooner. And if she can do it drunk, so much the better, pass the hootch.

So look forward to seeing some interesting opinions popping up here now and again, some fanfic, some humorous anecdotes (especially concerning 20-month-olds), and such. In fact, expect just about anything. That way, you won't be totally disappointed.

Toodilie-O!

It's Not My Fault!
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it and you can't prove it anyway.
